So i finally was able to get a car just before i left for school: an 02 neon 4d auto (unfortunately, i want a manual!) Its in great shape the only thing wrong with it is the gas gauge, it will read about half when there is a full tank but reads the correct amount other times??. I just finished installing a fsq last night, now for pics:


Holy shit was a pain getting this box to fit in the trunk I had to remove the middle back seat belt (didnt care especially since adults in the back seat dont need to legally wear it and i usually dont lug many people around, f that.

No air compressor, but 3000 psi sure cleared the box of some dust :excited:

The fsq is f'n loud too, i have a feeling sealing the trunk off will make a huge difference but fiberglass is f'n expensive so it'll have to wait a bit

ha yea, i fried that sqx on ~1600 lol it lasted for quite a while and never got really stinky and then capoot, owell. Besides, if i fry it i can recone it to a 12", the damn thing takes up my whole trunk.
