Since I'm trying to add the like buttons to Mafia Life, thought I would also try and get it to work on the forums too.

You should now be able to see the facebook 'like' button on the first post of each thread now. If you see a thread you like, click it!

This will create a link on your facebook wall, and hopefully your friends will see it, click on the link and hopefully join the forum. The more backlinks we get the better!

So everyone start liking stuff!!

Thoughts on a FB page for CAC? (group)

i got on facebook a few months ago my sister kept bugging me about it turns out everyone i know is on there including my computer illiterate mother. id k=join it if there was one

What would we have on the facebook group? Just a link back to here?

Just curious, did either of you click on the like button on the first post?
For me, it's only showing that I clicked it.

well I can look into setting up a group page for here. We can have it link back to here, yes, but it can also have member photos of our cars and/or systems, an event calendar, notifiations about upcoming events(?) things like that. Just a case that showcases stuff about the site and members, mainly, along with a list of anyone on FB who joins the group page.

That sounds good, I just mostly wanted to make sure we didn't take the focus off of the actual forum itself.

If you want to set it up, that would be cool.

odd, so that part works but why doesn't it either show your name up on the first post or at least a count of people who have clicked it.

On the first post does it still show my name as liking it, or does it show your name?

For me, it shows my name.
