Interest in Sponsors?

This isnt for sure yet, but I am kicking around this idea.

As some of you may have read, I just picked up a new bike. I like to ride. The most Ive ever done was about 35 miles in one day.

We have a MS "Bike to the Bay" here. It started out as a two day 150 mile total event- 75 miles per day.

Now they have some different levels.

I am thinking about the 100 mile event. 50 miles each day.

I would like to do the full 150, but its just not realistic for me. The 100 is pushing it.

At any rate, if I feel like its possible and I have the needed sponsor support I think I might give it a go.

There is a $250 pledge per rider needed. Obviously this is for the National MS Society- so the money is not for me.

If you would be interested in helping sponsor this fat man on a bike, that would be cool. Either post up your support or PM what you would be willing to pledge.

The only enticement I can offer anyone is this: $20 pledge or more and I will do your entire car audio order at cost. And a very lengthy report of my ride.. or a big thank you... Sorry no man hugs (unless your Bill Wolf).

And as a side note, if anyone would be interested in doing this with me- even better.

It all depends on what you intend to do.

With your picks it appears you want to ride dirt trails and the likes.

If you want to ride asphalt trails and such look for something with 700c wheels.

There is mine.

They have others in their "lifestyle" section that would fit you also.

i've got a giant rincon that i got in lightly used condition and already i'm having problems with the crank bearing as well as the crank itself. Granted i dont baby my bikes, but i dont think it should break after gettin a little rough with it. I do, however love the gear shift and the front suspension. Ride isnt too comfy though
