I have a 200 watt Eclipse 4 channel amp that's 50x4 rms and im wondering if I could bridge it to run 1 4ohm sub at 200w. I have the model number of the amp in my last couple of threads, its the older Eclipse 3640 I believe. (silver).

Also, I can pick up a 12" punch p2 for cheap, what are your opinions on these subs?

you will probably see 100w rms bridged at 4ohms and those subs are junk

you can do this with a 2 coil sub.
you bridge the amp into 2 channels, and run one channel per coil on the sub.
It should be fine if the sub is dual 4 ohm coils.
do not try this with a dual 2 ohm coil sub or a single coil model.
