My cousins room mate just called me and asked me if i wanted to trade my truck for his mustang.
The good.
89 gt
5.0, 5 speed.
mac heads, off road h-pipe
E303 cam
CAI
3:73 gears
GT40 intake with 65mm throttle (neither installed)
Set up for nitrous (no bottle)
short throw shifter
140 mph speedo
sun pro 5" tach with shift light
lx taillights
pony rims
Pretty good interior
Rust free body, straight, decent paint..
The bad:
Needs tranny. It comes with one, but it needs to be switched out. Easy!
The blinkers don't work. The fuse is good, I have no clue whats wrong?
Needs tires, they are BALD.
Prior salvage title. It was hit in the passenger door (which has been replaced), a fender bender totals these older cars....
The truck - 93 s10, single cab, short bed, 2wd, 4.3, auto.
The good:
112,xxx original miles, I bought it with 102,000.
3rd owner. 2nd owner was a grandpa and had owned it since like '95.
Runs and drives PERFECT!
New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, cat back dual exhaust.
Stereo system and pretty clean install (if I do say so myself).
z28 rims with brand new tires and front end alignment.
Good body (better than most around here)
CLEAN interior
1st gen blazer buckets seats, 2nd gen blazer console, custom door pods.
The bad
Has dent in the passenger fender (Have a brand new one)
Has rust on the passenger cab corner (have brand new one)
Needs paint. The current paint is dull (and wont buff out)
Needs motor mount. ($20 dollar part new, still drives great)
I need you opinion. I sort of want to do it, but on the other hand I should have the money within 2 months to buy a mustang out right. My buddy has a clean couple for 3 grand, but who knows if he'll still have. Or I could buy my old 86 gt t-top car back for 1,800.
