try hooking a different speaker to the sub amp, carefully of course, to see if the amp is still working fine. push on the subwoofers and see if they make a crunchy sound, lol
When I run into a problem like this, I run the wires two or three times. Check your rca's, make sure they didn't malfunction, then check your speaker wires and make sure the screws are tightened properly to the amp and sub terminals. Always 100% eliminate the easy stuff first, cause if you do find the problem then that means your equipment is not broken.

nope that was not the problem. all the wires inside of the box were fine. and i did a second check over the whole system : the head unit, amp and sub wires are all fine but i still cannot figure out what the problem is

RCA's are fine? They're plugged into the "Input" and not the "Output" of the amp?
