i just helped my buddy put this amp in his s-2000, and we can't figure out what the hell this x-over chip is, or where we can get one. Anyone here know anything about it?

You must mean its a Rockford Fosgate Punch 200 IX.

The cards came with the amp. Check e bay or you are SOL. I dont think the amp will even function without the card, or its maybe full range without it. been to long, dont remember.

the amp has a chip for it, but it is broken, it would be nice to know how it works because if we can just solder it back together, it would be nice. Oh, the amp's crossover still works, i just have no idea at what freq

92-94 range.

It is. Its the budget end of PPI back then, Sedona series. I never messed with them as if I remember right- the THD was SKY HIGH on them.

My old school Kicker DX700 had one of these. I'm pretty sure the amp won't work without it.

humm, well my friend found the manual online, i guess it can work just fine without it (the broken chip in it now is just a blank) and that without a chip the hpf is set to 90 hz, which works just fine. Now onto the subs (pics anyone?)
