Yuck
One of the msot traded in clunkers for a reason!
Think smart here~!~
I will say this is one to avoid. Guy I worked with had one with tranny issues. What a POS. Another guys mom had a 98 one. Said it handled like crap in snow/ice/heavy rains.

I wrecked one in snowy ice but other than that was fine.

My sister has a 95 closing in on 300,000 miles fast... It still has the original motor and transmission, no rebuilds to either one.
The Blazers from 92-up (cpi and newer) are worse then the explorers in my book.

explorers with the 5.0 and v8 are good for the running gear but their suspension isnt the best.

Might be fine if you're not using it for a daily driver, but like ryan said many of them run into transmission problems with that many miles. I would look into Jeep Cherokees as well. Definitely a better built vehicle with a straight 6. They're built like tanks and run forever. Wish i still had mine as a secondary vehicle. Also pretty loud.

The v8s are none for tranny problems. The motors are solid though!
Like I said, my sisters explorer kicks @ss... The suspension has been extremely reliable, we put a tire rod and ball joint on it in the last 100,000 miles.
I just got back from checking out the explorer. It was rough, the rocker panels were completely rusted out, there were little dents and dings, needed a rack and pinion, a/c leaked, etc, etc...
It's been rode hard and put away wet....
