I dont want to sound like an ass, but in today's society couples are quick to get married, and quicker to get divorced... It sucks for you, but such is life...

Live in learn, then get luv's...

I feel your pain. I pay out over $700 a month in Child Support myself.

Didnt you guys just buy a house? Man that sucks...

And its BS she will get half of your 401K. Why should she get half?

I will be checking into a prenup for sure...

well we was married for 10 years.. and had 4 kids.. guess we had a good run at it. im intitled to half her 401k when she draws it out but that could be when im dead and gone.. and the judge granted her my van thats in my name so if she dont make the payment it hurts my credit,, atleast my tunes are still working... get on a back road and make my eyes shake and forget bout the drama,, hell yea.
and thanks to bill for my half death penalty and half wolfpack 18,s are still bumpin strong.

she might have to pay you half of her 401k when the divorce occurs, not when she withdraws it. basically you split all assets at the time of divorce.

if she decides to live in the house, well you are entitled to half of that asset. so if you have any equity you get half.

sorry to hear about the bad luck.
