Whats a musinn?
I'd say your probably clipping the amp pretty bad. Also check your ground wire.

i meant music... the ground is well connected to the chassis.

Also check that the power wire isnt coming lose at the battery, fuse holder or amp.
How are you gains set? Are you running multiple amps?

could be overheating the amp, its probably going into thermal protect. or another kind of protect.

clipping would be my guess?? let us know some more info on what you are running and exactly what is happening.

what is clipping? i am not running multiple amps. the gain is about half way

clipping would mean distortion. or it could also be that the amp is shutting off and turning back on due to lack of voltage. that lack of voltage could be caused by many things like a weak charging system, poor ground.... even if it is grounded to the frame, the tiniest amount of paint making insufficient contact can lead to a bad ground.

clipping is when the amplifier "clips" or distorts the signal because you turned the gain too high.
