so the gayest install ive ever done (no offense to those of you who are gay or just a little bit curious) winds up on drop jaw mag....i cant decide if im happy about it or not...the guy did get a first place at cruisefest nationals with the car. but the whole system is dhd power cruiser subs soundstorm amps and head unit and audiopipe coax speakers....plus a marshal guitar amp....i hated that 2 tone purple box he had me build. not visible in this pic though is the body kit i installed and painted. dont get me wrong, i did it right but ive done much cooler installs and this is the one someone takes a pic of.

Your work is good but for a magazine, that is a horrible photo of the car.
That is really gay tho... You should have put a capacitor in upside down, sticking straight up and loops in the power wire underneath. That would have completed it I think.

That's a lot of purple that's for sure.
I'm sure you did a great job on it, too bad you had to listen to what the customer wanted tho

X2
The quality of work doesnt look bad at all, it just looks like the system came straight from the late 89's/early 90's.
Do you have a website with pictures of previous installs you have done?

nope, no web site...and there is nothing wrong with the late 80's early 90's that is considered by many to be the hey day of car audio..

I think you misunderstood me, the look of the install (colors) reminds me of something from the 80's.
The actually install looks good, the design and colors don't.
From what I can see, the body kit install/paint looks nice!
