Wass up guys . Just wanted to get some input of what kind of amplifier and setup would be ideal for my bro's stroker pro 15''. Hes currently in iraq and hes got a two week leave in April and i wanna get his system finished before he arrives. He was working on getting everything done before he was shipped over seas. You guys got any recommendations on wattage and wiring (series-paralell) please let me know . I just installed a 150amp alternator replacing the 80 amp stock alternator im hoping that will produce enough juice . Also im looking for an amp to pump that juice out . Is there any amps you guys recommend for the best bang for your buck ? Ive been looking at the Hifonics BXi2608D can i get some input of whether that amp can push that sub ? Any ideas i would appreciate it alot thanks for the time..

Just a heads up its 2500 WRMS dual 2 Ohm subwoofer.

So you will want about 2000-2500 WRMS x 1 @ 1 Ohm. Or you will want 1000-1200 WRMS x 1 @ 2 Ohm x 2 Amps and have them scoped in perfect.

I would advise a single amp selection.

Sure the Maxxsonics is the first place I would start looking.

Heres one for starters:

or, if your willing to spend just a tad extra, a crunch gp3000D pro would be a very nice amp to have

Awesome thanks for the reply's i will look into those amps . If you guy's got any other tips please let me know . Like i said i purchased a high output alternator 150 amp and im putting a secondary battery i believe its an optimum dont know the size my bro left it behind for this setup. Do you guys think i will have a power issue . I will be using another amp for voice . Im not a professional audio tech as you can tell i have put my own little systems before and haven't had an issue .I want to put a little more effort and detail on this one for my bro . What other components do you guys recommend for like noise cancellation , capacitor's , fuse size's , etc and any other components that will make this a better setup ? Please keep in mind im not out to spend a grip load of money just wanna get as many little items that make a difference in sound quality and dependability . Here is the car its going in . I sold it to my bro for $1,200 i think he got hooked up. One more thing i have an old Harman Kardon TC600 amp (nice power) which i used to have it hooked up to 3 JL 12w6 8 yrs ago and i removed because it kept going off on protection . Any clue as to what it might be and would it cost alot to repair. Thanks for the help guys..Em

I had a 1500 watt amp in my old car....stock alt, no big 3 and all... it worked fine no power issues what so ever, not even the head lights would dim... I'm sure you'll be fine bro.

Well I would make sure you have good wiring. Big 3. decent head unit and proper front sound stage is essential.
