im not much of a gamer but i have 2 old xboxs a 1.6 and 1.0 decided to mod them the other day now im running evolution x as my dash and x box media center as a application i might make it my default dashboard this program is awesome. if any of you have an old xbox laying around i recommend modding it and using xbmc the streaming and compatibility with all media types has really impressed me. also use chimp 2.4 or 2.6 to upgrade your hard drive ive got 120 gb in mine

this may be old news for some of you but i think this is pretty damn cool being able to stream music and movies all over the house with an xbox i can play backups, dvds without the dongle etc
it runs on windows too linux as well id say its second only to linuxmce or mythbuntu
the scripts add allot of functionality to this app too.
got all my roms on there
about 15 xbox games
idk
i think its a pretty good addition to the entertainment center

I used to use my xbox for that, until I got my Ps3... Using Tversity with the PS3 was so much nicer.

I hope you softmodded and not hardware modded. I still use my xbox occasionally for playing NES, SNES, Genesis, and N64 games.

yeah i did the softmod
i was at a thrift store the other day and saw an original mech assault game and i thought hey isnt that one of the games you need to do the exploit and ive got some old xboxs just sitting there might as well do something with them. the whole thing took maybe 1 hour to make an action replay and install then maybe 1 more to set everything up how i like it
navi-x is a cool script
i still havent gotten a new gaming system i dont play games much and when i do its an rts or puzzle i thought the wii was pretty cool i might get one of those but im pretty much happy with my dreamcast
i didnt have much luck playing n64 games on it some worked but looked wrong ive read that processor/ram upgrades can help with this but theres no way i can unsolder then resolder this by hand
