Well, I decided that instead of putting the 3100 that I just bought into the monte, I was going to sell it and swap in a 3400... So I call a buddy up, he said he knew somebody who needed one, so he'd give me my money back for it...

Then I was searching craigslist and found a 99 grand am gt that needed a motor... Hmm, but I need to finish the monte first, or do I? So I call my uncle and told him I was thinking about selling the monte, he said he'd buy it when I made up my mind... Hmm, now I need to see if I can find a motor for the grand am, otherwise its not worth buying..

So back to craigslist... found one! So I call the guy, tell him I'll come and check it out tomorrow evening, because I was going to be up that way checking out an explorer for my sister.. Explorer huh, he said, my son has one, its on craigslist, check it out... So I did, and its something that she'd be interested in, so were going to go look at it tomorrow...

Cliff notes: bought a 3100 for the monte, decided to swap in a 3400 instead, so found a buyer for the 3100... Then found a grand am, so I found a buyer for the monte.. Then found a motor for the grand am, which turned out to be a seller of an explorer that my sister wants...

All in about an hour...

You live a very complicated life sir. Have you ever been checked out by a professional?

Your car lifestyle would drive me bonkers. I have had the same car since '99. I don't plan on changing any time soon. Especially with this economy.

Sometimes...

The guy who was surpose to buy the motor from me was a no show, and my uncle doesnt have cash (he wants to do a bunch of trading) so I decided to try and sell the car as is on craigslist.. I posted it without a motor in the car (but am including the new motor) for 1,000 bucks...

I thought there was no way, but I have a couple of people looking at it tomorrow so we'll see... The average price on craigslist for one running average out to be around 2,500...

If it sellings, I know were theres a nice little 98 blazer, 2dr, 4wd, auto, 114,000 miles... The guy wants 1,500, I'm probably going to try and buy that if the monte sells...

If the monte doesnt sell, I'm going to fix it this weekend and repost it for $2250...

I have about $550 into the car...
