My aunt showed me this interesting article today in a feline wellness magazine. It was about how a cat's purring has health benefits. The russian's have been studying this for a while, knowing that vibrations at certain frequencies can cause healing change in the body (i.e ultrasound). Most cats purr in the range of 25-50 Hz. "Reasarch has shown that exposure to frequencies at that same 20 to 50 Hz induces increased bone density, relieves pain and heals tendons and muscles".
so, keep boomin', it's good for you
