Just joined in hopes of learning a few things, i have run 2 systems in my car and changing over to my 3rd, i was originally running all rockford fosgate, then i changed over to kenwood excelon, now i'm peicing it together as funds allow. i'm running a RF power 1001bd on 3 RF hx2 dvc 4ohm 10s wired at 2.66 ohms, each sub is running in its minimum air space of .75 cubic feet (i still need trunk space) i just purchased an autotek mm100.4 that will be running polk db 6500s, but i want to change the rears to midbass, i did alot of searching and reading last night. i need suggestions on midbass speakers in the $100 range. i have exactly 107. and change to spend. unless my other stuff on ebay sells. i just ordered an Alpine iDA-X100 to run the other stuff. again any decent suggestions for midbass preferably 6.5s in the $100.00 range?

If you can spend a little more (about 30 bucks) you can get the CDT 61a's... Nice component set for the money...

Welcome to the forum, I'm sure your stay will be an enjoyable one. The CDT's that Justin suggested are nice. Phoenix Gold has some 6.5's that tested pretty well too, although not to sure of what the opinion on here is of Phoenix Gold. At one time it was good equipment, but it fell off and now I think they are trying to come back up?

hey thanks for the welcome and suggestions, what opinions do you have on my other components? the car is a 2003 Alero 4 dr. mildly modified. if i am able to come up with some more cash what other suggestions do you have? i'm looking for clean sound with good solid bass, i listen to rock and metal religiously, and evbery now and then some industrial to push the bass, but no rap or pop. like i said cash depends on my ebay auctions so i may have some more funds by the end of next week?

i hope its ok, i added a link from my site http://www.nbodypower.com to your site, if not let me know and i'll remove it.

It's pretty tuff to find a set of nice components for under $200, thats not to say it cant be done...

Uhm, sometimes its better to buy used equiptment, though I understand that not everybody likes/feels comfortable buying used stuff...

And nice website. I'm sure it wont be a problem with the link...
