Here to be with our familes and friends, there the fighting seems theres no end, feeling cold chills in the air, watching the rockets, wishing they were home without a care,
watching their families unwrap presents and gifts, with this simple thought their spirits seem to lift, they protect our lives with little thought for their own, and salute the flag, as Old Glory is flown, So for our Soldiers lets say a prayer, and know God is with them, while they are over there.

Without people like you who serve, people like me(who cant), can be free. I am indebted to you for my life and that of my family.

Well said. From experience (though not in conflict),this can be a tough time for those serving away from loved ones. Thank you and Happy Holidays to those who serve from one who served.

Unfortunatly I am unable to serve my eyes are to bad. I wouldve served in a heartbeat though. My dad, uncle and grandpa all were service men, so it was kinda in the blood.
