Whats up with the crimes? It says you can earn extra cash by committing a crime, but all I do is get put in jail

Stick with the lower crimes at first, and then move up to the higher end crimes.
I'm hovering right around 55% right now at my success rate. I'm able to usually break into the car once my Intent is full.

OK What do you need to steal a minivan? I'm getting pi$$ed I get put in jail everytime I try. I have about 1300 crimes commited @ 58% success. What do I need?

It's not the total amount of tries that matter, but successful crimes.
This one time I'll tell you the secret number for having a chance at being successful.
For the minivan you have to have 800 successful other crimes. :)
