Okay dudes, my wifes t-blazer is having a HVAC issue. The blower comes on and everything but the door that swithces from one to the other is not opening. It will blow on the setting for everything but your feet. Does anyone have any experience with this, or a link where I can find out how to fix it??
Thanks,
Tim

You may want to try the Trailvoy forum (all Trailblazers and Envoys)... I know a bunch of people there have encountered all kinds of different things.

Expensive. Happend on my blazer there is a little motor that switches it and most likely its toast if thats the case its like 800 bucks at a shop. However i had this happen one other time and it was a bad vacuum line check the lines first.

thanks bill, I will check the vac. lines first. I hope that is all it is. We dont got the 800 big ones to shell out to get it fixed.

she really that worried about warm feet? you could always go the ghetto route and put a dryer vent tube from the top vents down to her feet

ahh you know how it is bill, I'll fix it for her. It don't look to be that big a problem I found a forum thanks to mike trailvoy.com. It is a pretty common problem and pretty easy to fix.

Similar thing just happened to my girlfriends 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ. It was a simple vacuum hose that self detached from the motor. Openned the hood and heard a hissing sound. That helped find the leak realy quickly. It was literally a > 1 minute fix. I am not a gearhead like some of you guys here, so it was a proud moment for me.
