i was listening to my stereo and it came to a part in the song where the bass is really strong and it hit and then after i heard no bass at all. checked my bass remote and the green light was off. then while the stereo was on i went to check the amp and it was off. whats going on? its a hifonics bxi 1606d hooked up to two cvr 12's wired at 1 ohm.

is it possible it could be a fuse on the amp?

yes it could be the fuse on the amp or the fuse upront. honestly 4 gage is a bit small for that amp and running a factory electrical system should probably be upgraded with a secondary small battery or alternator.

yeah thats what i told the guy at my local audio shop. i came in looking for a 2 gauge kit and hes like u should go with the 4 gauge thats what we usually use on these amps. so i got it. ill look into maybe upgrading my alternator.

Your right at the threshold in which i would reccomend a small battery as long as your not beating the crap out of it constantly you should be fine. did you check your fuses?

this is the amp i sold you right?

It needs a bigger power wire. chances are your getting a drop in voltage at by the at your amp.

didn't i send you 1/0?
