I titled it that way, cause I know a lot of you know all about my old pos computer which I admit I am using now...
But wait...
Looky what I gots

It's a Sharp loaded with XP... OMG! Right lol
Pentium 4 with 512mb and 60gig hard drive, DVD/ CD-RW, and a buttload of other lil goodies... Best of all was the price...
FREE!

One of my friends got a new laptop for work cause he said this one was to slow... Gee wonder why with all the crap he had on it... cleaned up now it seems much quicker so I'm setting up my new wireless connection for it now and I'm finally part of the new generation :happy055:

Hell yeah, I love this thing... better graphics And SOUND lol... The only downside to it is that the battery is shot so it has to stay plugged in... Like everywhere I would take it doesn't have a plug near by.

I'm right there with ya, I'm still using my old AMD 1600+
One of these days I'll finally upgrade, but just don't feel like spending the money on a new PC.

Bet you're using better than Windows 98 though... Besides, If you wait long enough you may have a better one given to ya :)

Contact Sharp and see if they still make batteries for that model. I would be surprised if they don't. The batteries are not overly expensive and if that is the only thing that you have had to pay for that laptop, then I would say you still came out WAYYYY on top!

Well I did some digging and the battery is almost as expensive as a new cheap laptop, so unless I could stumble across one super cheap I'll just keep it plugged in... besides from what I've seen the battery was only good for about 1.5-2 hours of work time anyway.
Like said before; Just about everywhere I'd want to take it has a plug near by and I can pick up a power inverter way cheaper for the vehicles.
The one thing I think I may do is boost up my memory and I'm gonna need a usb mouse (already have an extra usb keyboard that I'm using now).
