As I posted before they thought they might have to amputate her foot because it wasnt getting the proper amount of blood to it...
Well they ran the balloon thing to open the veins back up and said they'd know for sure in about ten days, but there was only about a 10% chance of it working because they were without adequate blood supply for so long...
Well they said today that the her foor was going to be ok, but she was going to have to go into a nursing home for a month or two to recover...
So yeah, she's 74ish (ehh, I forgot exactly) and still ticking along pretty good...

Great to hear man :)
Hopefully the extented care facility can get her into some good workouts to not only help her recover, but also that she can take home to keep her kickin that much longer

Good deal. Im sure she will be mad about having to sty in there. When my Grandma had her knee replaced she was chomping at the bit to get out of there. She cut her visit 1 1/2 weeks short...lol
I dread even thinking about those places after seeing one lately...
Just spend time with her or make sure someones there almost every day.

Somebody will be there EVERYDAY.
Our family is really close net, it's not uncommon to show up at my grandmas unannounced for breakfest and run into a few of the other family members.

That's cool cause she'll need the moral support :happy055:
That and many times the help at those places may need a kick in the butt to get what's needed done.
