You know I hear people talking wabout losing/ wasting their vote.

The only way people do that is by not voting. That is one right we still have, to vote.

The one thing I tell people who don't vote is: If you don't vote, dont come griping, crying, or whining to me when it is not the way you want it.

tim, i mostly agree with you, however, even those of us who do vote don't really have any rason to complain - our senators and reps, and especially president do not work in the interest of the people they're supposed to serve, they work for which ever lobbyist group passes them the biggest check.

Okay, i can get with you on that. I do think it is bought and not really won, either way. I think it all falls to who has the most money. both ways the candidate and the group passin the check.

However, i do still think that anyone who doesn't vote shouldnt complain becuase they didn't exercise their right. I also think it is just lazy to not go vote. considering the options we have available. I mean we can vote absentee, if for whatever reason we cant make it to the polls.

A woman told me friday that she doesn't know what either side is for: is that not why we watch the debates??

voting is cool and all but isnt not voting better than misplacing your vote? Honestly i dont understand these campaigns. they dont usually inform people that just maybe they should do research on the candidates. But just to get out and vote. which ill informed americans might just do..get out and vote for whoever they may think is better. but not actually know what there voting for. However on the other hand people who know the candidates and know what there voting for already know to get out and vote
