From Bill @ Knu

Hmmm so even the Knu guy notes a flexibility difference... Hmmm I cant quite figure out why the rope lay would of been modified... ... ...

The American Bass wire is what it says it is. I made a huge stink about the Raptor JUNK awhile back:

And just for giggles:

:awesome:

So in closing... I was right on the wire I HAD. The new KLMX is different, so its not fair for me to comment on it as I havent used it. So I cant just group it al together... However the strand count part remains the same- less strands larger wire...

Anyhow... Good night.
Show me where it says American bass has more conductors of a lower Gage. i couldn't find it.

Secondly you admitted you had no right to comment on the wire you bashed. Hence no clue.

What does raptor have anything to do with this squabble? I've said on numerous occasions raptor was cheap wire.
The only thing that matters is the fact you bashed a product with out first hand knowledge. I'm not saying knukonceptz KLMX is the best wire out there or its the most flexible or has the lowest resistance. I'm simply stating that your comments to the product were wrong I've even posted pictures as such and your whole argument was based on something you have never touched or felt except for a previous version witch wasn't even brought up till you realized you weren't talking about the same shit i was.

BTW...

Interesting.
I was commenting generally on the CCA wire when I noticed theres a difference between what I have and what you have. I retracted my statement on the KLMX as I havent worked with it. When i made my comment I wasnt aware there was a difference. At least I can admit to when I may have overlooked something and made a mistake. God forbid the bass god Bill Wolf be wrong, ever... rofl

You told me I was wrong about the wire I have.

in fact your wrong. I got the email from Knu. So there is a difference. There is a reason and cause.

As far as less conductors with a larger gauge, thats what Knu's information provides. The KLMX has less conductors and a larger gauge than the Kolosses Flexs. Do I gotta connect the dots for you?

I never ONCE said this was American bass wire Vs Knus. So dont troll it. I didnt say it.

Put AM against the KLMX?

Your going to find the KLMX has a larger cross section to make up for the poor aluminum conductor, as stated by Knu. Hell look at the PDF and compare the KLMX to the Fleks.

So if your going for a visual comparative you fail right off the bat.

Hop on the failboat.

And Raptor...

Just goes to show I call it how I see it. Whether its Raptor wire made by Tsunami, American Bass or even knu.

I will continue to call it how I see it.

If that leaves us in disagreement so be it.

A FWIW I didnt realize there were two version and Im sure you didnt either. Its not like you knew I had a different version. So dont even try to play it like that.

And that comment on AB wire is from 2006. Who knows. Maybe its changed just like the KLM wire to the KLMX?

hahahaha

Plus for all we know some numbnuts with no clue may have posted that.

Call it how you see it huh? well i guess you would have had to see it.

What could i possibly be wrong about? I have no trouble admitting when i'm wrong. I have in the past numerous times.

Ryan its simple it comes down to this.

Have you had any experience with the KLMX cable i suggested in the beginning?

No you haven't.

You flat out cannot comment or call a product trust because you have no first hand experience with it. You can bring up all kinds of other bull shit like Raptor but fact of the matter is you commented on a product you had no experience with and bashed it. I never criticized American bass wire because i have respect for your opinion until now. Now i realize you'll bash whatever it takes to make a sale. I didn't know you had a different version but this whole time I've been arguing the wire I've used and I've been saying KLMX from the beginning. Its not my fault your made an accusation about a wire I SUGGESTED as bad because you used a DIFFERENT WIRE!

What in the **** does KLMX and Flex have anything to do with this? There 2 different wires with 2 different prices. quit bringing shit into this that doesn't matter.

LET ME CLEAR THIS UP I'M ARGUING THE FACT YOU BASHED A PRODUCT WITH NO EXPERIENCE WITH THAT PRODUCT. CCA WIRE WORKS GREAT IF YOUR ON A BUDGET. IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DEAL WITH IT.

Now lets be honest. Aluminum VS Copper in a 100 amp comparison how much will the aluminum conductor make a difference over 15ft? Id be willing to bet it makes very little to no difference.

Lastly please point out where i have contradicted myself or have anything in this thread i need to retract? Fact is i have been arguing my opinion with facts and not assumptions like you have.

where did you see American bass was OFC wire? I cant find any info on it being CCA or OFC.

I'm done arguing with you over this stupid shit this could go on forever. Let people buy what they want and quit bashing shit you haven't used.

Here is what KnuKonceptz states is the difference between the KLM and KLMX wires....

"KLM and KLMX - difference is in the jacket, the KLMX is slightly softer making it more flexible and there was a change later in the rope configuration of the KLMX. Performance wise they are identical."

This is what they told me in an e-mail.

The JVC KW-XG700 is awesome. But the remote is about as small as my car key. what's up with that? The Pioneer I had 7 years ago was 3x bigger. Oh well. I never use the remote much anyway.

As far as the amp goes. Won't have that till this Friday. :sad017:

And to top it all off won't be able to afford the subs and wiring till next Friday ( I hope ). May have to split it up between 2 pay checks now ( 4 weeks ).

Repairs on truck took more than I thought. Had to spend $1100 on the damn thing. 4 tires, alignment, 4 ball joints, both outer tie rods and the 4x4 actuator thing. Pissed me off. But at least the truck is safe again.

No it's not. I use to work for who is doing it. So they cut me a little break on parts and labor.

Still ticks me off that I had to wipe out my stereo fund though.
