exactly and i think thats what we should do is show people whats really going on behind the glitz the glamour and the over inflated numbers. i mean think of it this way. for 450 bucks you can get brittany spears with all her problems or you can get addrianna lima. although there both pretty hot top quaility is always better lol. pretty simple pick to me.

Well we do after all try to point people in the right direction... but as Solace stated a lot of people don't want to save and this is why I gave the alternative, but why not take it back to the question of the MM2000... which is what he was asking about originally and is a great amp... Normal retail on these through an authorized dealer would be in the $675-750, so I could see where the $355 price plus shipping would be enticing through ebay, so if this is what you really want and you want a warranty to go along with it... The best I can do on it is $569.00, so think about it.

How do the new Audiopipe amps compare to the older ones. Because i was actually thinking about getting the GD-6001 CEA rated at 2000 @ 1 ohm. And do they put out clean power for a daily street beater? Noticed the THD was a good bit higher than the MM's but as you are saying they are different grade amps. How would the Audiopipe do on a 15" Audioque HD3? I know it would have enough power but what type of power and how efficient? Looking to run 2 of them one to each 15" HD3. And yes i have upgraded my electrical to a 220A alt, 1100A Exide/Rockford Fosgate Deep Cycle under the hood, Big 3 done in 2/0awg, and 2 Stinger SPV35's in the back, was planning on adding more batts when i got more power, maybe even dual alts if needed I just need to see how the power works on my electrical and upgrade what is needed.

it sounds to me with all of those upgrades with your electrical system, your gonna want something better than a "street beater"

You say you are going to run 2 of whatever amp to each HD3. So, multiple subs. 8kw if you are running 2 subs. That is a shit ton of power on a 225amp alt and 2 batts. Your best option is getting the more efficient amps..... which is going to be the better quality ones. I would shoot for no less than the Autoteks.... especially if you are already puting good amount of money into your sysytem, dont skimp out on this.

Yeah as stated by others... You're running something better than a street beater, which had I known you were going with that much power... I never woulda brought up the Pipes to begin with, as they are good for cheap power, but not going to be right for your application... So stick with the higher end models and you'll be glad you did ;)
