Hey whiteboy, remember those calculations you gave for the largest enclosure you could fit in your truck (63x23x22)... well guess what... that's nearly the size box you need to go with vented ports
Actual size should be 63"W x 21"T x 21"D once you account for vents and subwoofer(s) displacement you'll be right around 10 cu. ft. total (5 cu. per each sub)...

that out to do alot better huh.

thats claiming 550w at 4 ohms

im supposed to put in some subs for a girl, and she wants one of my amps because they are shiny aluminum (shes all about the bling) and she told me that if i give her my 2 amps shell by me up to 600 bucks worth of amp, and i called up the shop i normally by all my wires and stuff from and told them what subs i have and asked what amps they can get for under 1000 for them, they said for 590 they can get me 2 brutus 1600 watt amps, wich are i think it was 550 at 4 ohms.. is that a good price on them?

Couple Questions: Why are you worried about what the Brutus will run at 4 ohms when your subs are dual 4 ohm, this means you should be wiring them for 2 ohm operation... In which case the Brutus 1600 will push 1100w RMS
Second, Is that $590 price for 2 amps or each? If it's for 2 then yes it's a good price... If it's only for 1 amp then you can still get a better price even from an authorized dealer.

Yeah Dual 4 ohm run in parallel would be 2 ohm... so you might wanna look at getting 1 Brutus Bxi2006, cause your subs can't handle 1100wrms each... They're only rated at 800wrms each. The Bxi2006 is rated at 1300wrms @ 2 ohm, so see what there price is on those... that way each sub will see 650wrms... That should be enough for ya

said they can throw in a zxi6006 to run my components off of, for another $200

they didnt give me any info on that one.

im kinda worried about blowing my door speakers, cause its a pain in the ass to change them.

i got the hk69 and the hk52 speakers, do you think that would be a good amp to run for them?

he said its a 2 channel and 600 watts, btu didnt give any more details, he just said the 2 amps look the same, so it look cleaner.
