im a carpenter and the mdf is to heavy id go with 3/4 inch ply wood its lighter and you will get more bounce from the ply

my dads a carpenter, as well as is his brother, and as was their dad (my grandfather), and its what i did for many a summers and any other time he needed some help, which was quite often. i know what im doing with my hands. now... why would i be worried about more weight, especially when i want it sturdy as shit??? and why would i want "more bounce"??? i want these speakers staying right where i put them, especially when a sub's playing right below them. im just not underastanding that previous statement.

also, mdf looks way better than plywood, since im not sure if ill be covering it, atleast probably not right away.

i cant really explain how i plan on doing this, but it works out in my head, and the 3/4 is gunna work better for my particular case. im not worried about this at all. all im concerned with right now is that im choosing the right drivers, amp, and crossovers.

okay, so when i googled jl audio 6w0 infinite baffle, i get several "It is not intended as an infinite-baffle speaker".

excuse my language, but shit! space restrictions cause by my bigass sub box below are restricting me from enclosing them. now im trying to find a better suited IB midbass. its back to either eD, kicker, or im still waiting on a price from dd for thier midbass
