more fun with the dodge

I would take a dodge over a chevy any day. I a true blue oval man myself. But I will say this, I love '66 chevy 2's!! I can't help it, that is a damn good looking car to me.

Dodge has been doing great since they started building their own stuff and dropped Mitsubishi's trash platforms. That was their main problem.

Only good autos made were the Ford C4/C6, GM Turbo-Hydramatics, and Dodge Torqueflites. All of them are near bulletproof and can be built up to take tons of power.

Maybe so. If you feel that it's junk and a Blazer is your reference for comparison, then it must be a complete pile of shit

haha, whatever...

You cant tell me that dodge (more so 2nd gen ram) hasnt had a HIGH rate of failure.. You can go to the dodge ram forums and THEY will tell you that...

Do I like dodge.. Yes, as long as they come equipt with a manual...

Do I agree that the blazers/s10's have their fair amount of flaws?

Yes, yes I do...

Fuel pumps on all 4.3 models are crap. The cpi injection is horrible. The valve seals and guides on the 4.3s arent the greatest. The motor mounts on the 4.3s are junk. The 2.8's are bearing spinning p.o.s... The 2.5 are knocky mofos, but they'll run forever like that.

If you go to any s10 forum they will tell you the same...

The truth of the matter is that EVERY car manufacturer has their flaws, you just have to pick the one that has the flaws that YOU can tolerate... :happy055:

It's more so depending on the model. I'd take a mustang over a camaro, but take a cavalier over the escort... Same thing with dodge, I'd take a cummins over the duramax...

I guess honestly, I like dodge, ford and chevy... I just dont care for dodges automatic trannys... :happy055:

I have a lot of seat time in a 2005 cummins w/ automatic tranny, GREAT tranny. Maybe there durability is questionable? I don't know, but that one was fine.
