Best 10" for full range of music

wasn't my thread, but thought that this was turning into a pissing match of epic proportions...about nothing really.

A good all around 10" subwoofer for not alot of dough, also tried and true, is the JL audio 10w3. that design has been around for 10 years and still performs as well as it did when it was new like Elemental, RE, and all those.

I am sure the others are excellent subs, but I haven't heard either one, and the JL is a sure winner in anyone's book. should be able to pick one up for around 100 bucks.

I'll 2nd the Diamond Audio D6's... I use a 12 in my truck. Love it.

In my other ride I have Dayton Audio Referrence subs... the HO models may fit your bill... It is actualy equally adept at midbass duty. I have tested th HF up to 150hz - 200hz & wish I could fit them in my doors.

There is one major draw back... there seems to be a high demand for XMAX now days. So if you are looking for anything more than the 12mm\14mm the Dayton has to offer perhaps its not for you...

thanks for all the replies, and also for the heated discussion. I have decided to keep the R's for the time being and then later on down the road i will most likely pick up in IDMAX. I will just have to wait until i get to test some of the subs out.
