I keep watching the news, and seeing the destruction.

I hope you're able to salvage most of your property, and hopefully if it's intact people aren't looting it...

I am heading out Friday morning at 2am to my brothers wedding in Fort Walton Beach Florida. I plan on getting as close to New Orleans as I can on my way back...I want to see this first hand, and take some pictures. I will let you know what I see....should be exciting. I'll be back sometime Monday.

Do any of you listen to Coast to Coast AM ? Weather warfare?

I'm considering volunteering at the local red cross to donate some time to help out. The people at the local unit are friends of mine.. asked if I wanted to help out.

CAF now has a Red Cross banner put up to try and get releif help.

If your in a position to help you should.

I know most of you (including myself) are strapped for cash... Now with higher than hell gas prices I dont have anything spare...

im gonna try and give some but the gas is hurting really bad i drive about a 100 miles a day and i have to still keep my business open but ill try.

Thank you all for anything. None of you should go anywhere near New Orleans. The violence from these stupid gangs is bad. They have had to shut down most of the rescue operations because these stupid people shooting at everything. I heard that some walk around with guns in neighborhoods claiming, "We own dis city now". I hope they all die. I want the national guard to shoot each and every one of them in the head and leave them to rot.

Don't take what I say as prejudice. It is the absolute truth. The city is 60% black, and most of them are absolute trash. They take all they can for free. In texas here, black people are wonderful. They are NOTHING like them back in New Orleans.

Mind you some in Texas are just as bad. Where you are isn't that bad. I live in ghetto Longview, much different than Atlanta. I hear gunshots around my school property on a weekly basis...not kidding.

Think of it this way...this will clean the city out, wash out all the trash. Everyone walking around with guns will get shot....10k troops just deployed to that area. When the city is rebuilt, there won't be any more of those dark corners or streets. Just about everything is going to be rebuilt...if they rebuild there. Bourbon street needed a good cleaning with all that smell and stinch that lingers there. Speaking of, so much for Mardi Gras.

I've been seeing some of this on the news, that's just terrible. At a time people should be helping each other, you got these low life piece of garbage going out shooting at everything, and stealing everything else.

I heard that one of the Wal-Mart’s down there, said that people could go in and just take any food or other items that they need to live. So what do people do, go in and take the plasma TV's and other stuff. Just took advantage of Wal-Mart kindness.



Then you have other people sympathizing for the looting that really makes me mad. There is no reason at all to justify stealing a plasma TV during, it's thievery and that's all it is.

Yea. Reverend Jesse Jackson was on just an hour ago. He never commented on the looting. He mentioned them taking food and diapers, but that was it. Breaking into stores for food, water, and essentials at a time like this does not bother me. I don't even consider that looting. The thing that bothered me is that Rev. Jackson is only going to help people from the universities. I would like to see him go into the bad areas and try to help people there. I bet he'd wind up getting shot of all things. I would like to see his perspective after that.

That's fine that my last post was edited. But the black people who are living lawlessly, looting and flaunting guns, have earned and deserve the "n-word". I really hope they die from the bullets of the National Guard. If any of you sympathize with them, you should suffer the same fate.
