Fubar, I'm not too familiar with the crossovers. Do you mean the settings on the amp? As in the gain, boost and level of frequency. The boost is set low, the gain is set low and the frequency is set at 75. On the deck the bass is set at -8 level and it gives the mids a sound I hate.

Mithrandir, I feel like freaking on him but I want to get Kicker to do the Kicking for me, if this doesn't get resolved the way I want then the animal will be unleased on him. This is not the way I would deal with a customer if I ran a business, if he keeps this up I'm going to let everyone know and he will lose out real fast. I've actually let a few people know already.

thats the only way to get rid of the bad shops, id call kicker up and start chewing for like and hour, then when they get off the phone with you they will call him up and chew him for even longer. make sure when you call them dont swear and dont sound retarded and they will actually help you out, if you were like "yo this guy **** **** **** blah blah, your stuff sucks" stuff like that they wont do a thing.

Sinister, yeah they are the Comp VR's because it say's right on the sub. I wish that's what it was though because then I would simply call him on it and make him piss his silkies while doing it. I am kinda turned off of Kicker now because I wanted to blow my eardrums without any worries but it tured into a stress headache instead. So I will look around for something else, I may just turn back to what I know and that is MTX. Oh the memories flash back to just thinking of my sore eardrums, ha ha.

Kiki, yes it makes a difference in the cab of the truck when all four doors are open or even just the windows. In every vehicle I've ever owned it's been like that. Mustang, Daytona, Reg. Cab F-150 and in my sister cars also but they would all pound even if the windows were closed. It is a sealed Kicker box made for that sub and it's about two cubic feet. The frequency on the deck is 60 or 85 I believe and on the amp it's 75. The RCA's are connected correctly also. This is the first time I have had subs in this truck, I had the stereo installed when it was brand new and it still has less than ten thousand Kilometers on it, which is about fifty nine hundred miles. I wish you could come figure it out for me also but I'm in Alberta, Canada and soon both Americans and Canadians are going to need passports just to get accross the border.

Yeah, I hear ya there Sinister. I have had to deal with many big and small outfits in the oil field in Northern Alberta and when they freak out I don't even want to do the job. I am a very calm person and know how to deal with people unless I'm drunk then I'm just looking for a person with a problem, ha just kidding.

Yeah, I'm not too sure the exact size of the box but it isn't really big. It's about 15"x15" looking straight at the top of the box and mabey 17" tall from top to bottom. Does that give you an idea of the size at all?
