2008 Challenger vs. 2009 Camaro
Thats why I hate it when people claim they have a "Corvette" motor in their Impala or Camaro/Trans-am. During the LT1 years the Impala had 260 hp, the Camaro/Trans-am had 285 hp and the Corvette was 300.
But GM likes to under rate the HP on the Camaros and Trans-ams to keep the Corvette fanatics happy. I have seen the dyno results from a LS1 Trans-am and Corvette and they were within 6 hp at the rear wheels.

GM is notorious for doing this, as they did with the LT1 in the Impala SS.
Also, Subster, If Chryslers can't hold their value, why did a '71 Cuda recently sell for $3.4M? Or, do you happen to shit gold bricks?
dude, if you think thats a lot of money i bought my car for 125.......

Yea... Seeing that HEMI Cuda go for 3.4 mil was like a dream come true.. but the sad thing really is that it will never be driven...
If i was Bill Gates, I would buy one and then drive it into the ground... Just cause it would be amazing to have a 426 Hemi Cuda Convertable... Shit i would rock this look all day:

theres a big difference in a 71 cuda and whatever chrysler is building these days. a 71 cuda is a collectors car and anything since the mid 70's excluding the viper and that hideous looking retro convertible they made is just a chrysler.......check out the resale on any other chrysler product compared to the new pricing. chrysler is discovering some sort of rebirth within the last decade or so due in large part i believe in the great buys you can get with their used cars. plus the new 300, the magnum, the newerish rams are pretty popular. and the jeep line, but, that being said the used prices tell the story on the later models of dodge and the resale value they hold.

Its really suprising that Ford stayed the same given that those F150's are having so many tranny and engine problems... well at least thats the impression that i get from most ppl around the New England and PA area.
BTW... there were i think 4 or 5 of those replicuda's... and i think almost all of them were auto's with a 318 in them... There might have been one with a 340 in it... I would have to research it... I Used to follow that show religiously... Plus i couldnt get enough of Don Johnsons only single...
