Ok well the Durango may look like it measures to 6.75 inches, but they are actually 6.5"... I've done a couple of them Durangos already

just wanted to point out that some 6.5 speakers will mount in the 6.75 opening and others will not, scosche makes an adaptor for this if you dont have the tools to make your own, that will allow a 6.5 to mount directly

if some one could give me 1 or 2 web addys where i could get some for a good price lemme kno.. guess ill be lookin for the component speakers and tweeter package .. i really dont want to buy separate.. (ive only got bout 200 to 300 dollars)

Components have the tweeters so no extra package needed... And that's why I referred you to Terry (smoker)... since he's closer to you than I am... He's also an authorized dealer for Fusion, and if you buy from an authorized dealer you get the comfort of a warranty... most websites that claim to be authorized dealers that offer items at big sale items are not, because a lot of companies don't authorize online sales.

They have an MSRP of $209.95, but I'm sure Terry will give you a good deal on them

Oh and a lil more about that component set... Fusion won a gold metal for best sounding in it's price range at the European I.C.E awards

well thats settled. im headin down to clarksville, tenn. (around Ft campbell Ky) a day or 2 after x-mas . to visit my parents.. i take 71 all the way down till i hit 65, so ill stop in and get a pair on the way down or back up, depending if its open. thanx for the help

yea but ill try and talk him out of the fusions....lots of new developments at fusion this past year and not all of them good.....i can get it but i have removed them from anything i actively stock...

ill be going down on thursday the 27th and comin back on sunday, if your not open one of them 2 days i might be able to push it to monday, guess we can talk bout what kinda comps i need when i get there, if you have something better in mind. but if not go head and stock a pair of those for me
