Who makes the Xsites? Can I get them from Woofersetc? I am pretty sure I have seen the Cerwin Vegas on there.

Looks like this thread lost all interest, I have probably beat it to death. I thank you all for your invaluable information. I'll be tearin up the streets this weekend. Oh, and if anyone wants me to advertise for them on myspace I would be willing to. I know that having someone like me advertise isn't the best way, but I might as well as a way of saying thank you.

Here is the link for the xsite subs:

The upside is that there are no territorial restrictions on these, so I can ship them anywhere, unlike Fusion that has to stay in my area.

It's been three weeks since this died, so I wanted to use a thread I already made to ask more questions. Um, the Pioneer subs, the bigger ones that say 1000w max or what not.

Are they worth my money, and how long will they last under daily heavy bass. Scarell knows about the kind of bass I am going to be giving them. It is a bit high, but still sounds nice to me. IF those are poop I will stick to the plan and go with VRs. Hopefully the money and everything will be ready before christmas, like more around Thanksgiving, and I can start ordering subs and my box. If not, I might go route 2.
Route 2 consists of my friend's system. It is a Lightning Audio Strike amp, and two MTX 4500s in a sealed enclosure. They are over a year old and he is selling it all to me for 300, don't know if that is a rip off or not personally.
His things have taken a beating so I am not sure if they are on their last leg or not.

Well the Type-Rs are more expensive, but I know Custom Audio has a buy one sub get one sub free things going on, so I could just get them there and it would actually save me a few dollars. Although I don't know how long that sale will continue, hopefully until my next paycheck.

Are you looking for multiple subs and how much are you looking to pay? I'm imagining you should go with a larger diameter sub since you want volume (15"?) and ported for efficiency.

Um, since I am working with a 92 Grand Am, space is somewhat of an issue, but not a huge one. That is why I wanted to go with two twelves. Ported was always the way i was gonna go. Um, I am looking to spend about 700-750 tops for subs and amp. I want to get a Hifonics amp, Possibly a Brutus 1206. Installation I know will cost a pretty penny if I have to go to a local shop, which is ok, also wires and what not are a side cost.
