I agree but he's just looking for little solutions and every little bit helps.
As for me I'd just start from scratch and make a new box :)

my college's mainframe used punchcards :) no joke.
right up to the day I graduated in fact. I hope they've upgrades since then.
I also recall Wang and IBM computers when a 5MB (yes five megabyte) hard disk was the size of a filing cabinet on wheels and cost more than a modern car.
