yea exactly how hard they will hit... is never certain only because it really does rely on ur acoustics in ur cab, how its installed what amp, how you wired them, and what box u decide to install. I like 10's and 12's soooooooo go with somethign like that! Personally though if ur looking for somethign loud just be like Hey High Society what was ur exact set up and the nduplicate it... If he said it was loud... im sure it was really really loud

I gotta say I can tell the diff between sealed an ported. Some songs are crazy loud, were some arnt so loud. And yes them 8's were loud, as is the X. For a DD it's enough for me :)

No insulation at all. I would has sound deaden it, but I didn't have it long enough to even do it. But I dunno how far away someone could hear me, didn't really care about that, unless I was wantin to show off, which I would guess you could hear far away cuz a lot of heads turn.

Keep in mind even if you didn't buy a stealthbox, I'd still recommend you take a look at it as an idea for what you could potentially put in there, and get an idea of what type of box you could build assuming you have some fiberglass skills or you are willing to learn. That's why I brought it up in the last page, from that you could use whatever 8" you want to put in there assuming it'd fit.
