Maybe if you only get one shot off!! I disagree, I think if you unloaded a clip of 45's in a "bair"'s head and chest it would kill him. but that also depends on the aim of the person, no matter what gun they have :)

as its staring you down you aim at head or lower, you got head neck and chest to hit. but of course i've never stared a "bair" down and killed him with a .45, so i guess i really don't know sh*t!

lol i think i might wee myself a little if that happend to me. bears are bad ass creatures and i would always like to have a bad ass gun at hand.
