on axis the tweeters would be pointing torward you.
Off axis the point directly towards each other (across the car in front of you)

oh god TN 52s
Get those things down in the kicks. Trust me. The reason they sound better they are bad with reflections, especially off of glass. The way you moved them took away the reflection off of the glass and cleaned them up.
Sometimes they do good firing directly across the window but you loose out on depth, and they can get pretty peaky.
They tend to sound real good off axis on the kicks but again you will loose out on depth.

sure you do. small trim ring, little bit of grill cloth and some fiberglass and your golden.
So do you have any room in the pillar to fire them directly across?

me and fiberglass dont mix, i can find different ways to make mini pods, my drivers side a-pillar is a triple gauge pillar, would they need to be near the top of the windshield or bottom of the windshield? and are we talking about still using the ones i have now?

yeah same speakers. no reason to change.
well play around with some double sided tape and firing them in different directions mounted directly to your kicks.
See what happens. If you find something you like mount them up, retune your phasing and give it a go.
