American Bass isn't even on the newer list that we started updating... And I'm pretty sure most would agree that they should be placed at "Good" for the SQ and FL lines and probably recommend for the VFL amps... About all of their amps are under rated on power.
As for the SQ1500M... It is a 2 ohm stable monoblock and why I recommended it.

They have the wrong specs on that page and under rate all of their equipment... And it's a monoblock hence the "M" at the end of the model # SQ1500M.
It's actually capable of 1200rms @ 2 Ohm

I actually looked through the Maxxsonics stuff before recommending the American Bass amp... The Maxx stuff just doesn't have a 2 ohm stable amp that would fit him as well as the AB

You would have to find a 1 Ohm stable amp that was capable of putting out the power you require at 2 Ohm... You see when you wire up your subs it won't matter what the amp is capable of at 1 Ohm, because it will only be seeing a 2 Ohm load from your subs... So you would have to go with a much larger amp than what you need for 1 Ohm.
Example: A Hifonics Brutus BXi1208D is 1 Ohm stable and will put out 1200w @ 1Ohm, but only puts out 900w @ 2Ohm, so you would need to look at something like the BXi1608D or BXi2008D (1600w and 2000w at 1 Ohm) to even get close to what you need for a 2 Ohm load... Seems like kind of a waste to spend the extra money on a larger amp only to Not use the power it's capable of.
And I'm a dealer, and although I don't have any laying around I can order and ship you an amp

Shoot me a PM with your address and zip and I'll get ya a price.
