Get me some spec or I will see if I can find some and whip up a size/port combo for ya.
You will have to figure the box end size out though. I will get you height and depth.
lol I wondered if that roll off was a problem. I wouldn't be surprised if I did something wrong. I know I forgot to enter Re in the parameters
Here are the specs I have:
Fs: 27 Qts: .835 Qes:.958 Qms: 6.5 Vas: 163 liters
Re: 3.3 Xmax: 25 Sens 87.35 Rms 700 Displacement .231

Forgot, for end size I was shooting for 23 in long. FYI I have 18 inches max for height. Thanks Ryan!

You do realize this sub leans heavily towards sealed boxes?

Im not saying you cant port it, but Im saying the results are not near as good with other comparable subs (with different T/S Specs).

Thats why your graph was looking bad. With subs in the 50 EBP or so the magnitude grows rapidly. This sub its drawn out more, with it peaking in the 50 area. So to put this in easier to grasp terms, in your car its going to peak closer to 57 Hz. Also note that you will be missing out on prettymuch anything below 35 Hz, thats your F3 cutoff point.

I would input it at 3 cubes and tuning of 36 Hz if your going sealed. F3 is 35 Hz.

Or toss it into the recommended 1.75 sealed and have fun.

Everything I've read says to use this driver in a sealed enclosure, including BCAE's calculator, so you're right on there. I was just trying to see where I could get the greatest output. I've never experimented with ported enclosures so this is entirely new territory for me :)
I will probably build a 2.5 or 3.0 sealed for a daily driver and a larger vented box to play around with just for the heck of it. I don't know why I decided to go with a 15...I should have done my research a little better lol. The Mazda 3 has the smallest trunk I've ever had to work with. :banghead
