dont worry bout knockin my setup.. i kno it aint one of the better ones.. but i dont worry about all the aspects of the music.. i just want sometthing thrown in there that sounds half way descent for not to much money and be dun with it.. then move on to something else... as i think most people are that way. he asked about the alpines so i was just givin him my 2 cents on what i kno from them thaz all... maybe one day if i have the funds, and devoted myself to one certain project i could do a quality build like yours.. maybe when the kids move out in 30 years. lol.

I'm still unable to make up my mind. I've read reviews, specs, articles, etc. and I just feel like I'm going to make the wrong decision. The thing is, I want a good set of components but I really don't want to spend over $300 because I also need to buy dampener and wire and a couple other things. And I really don't want to go over $500 for everything. The local stores definitely want more than that for the good stuff.
So, I'm seeking advice and opinions from you all, if you don't mind.
If you were to purchase a component set for $300 or less, which set would you chose? I will gladly purchase through an online dealer if that's where I can get a good set for that price. As long as their reputation is good.
Feel free to call me out on the noobie boobie questions. ( . )( . )
Thanks guys.

Check the FS section for what Im considering...
Im not sure on the Cadence comps... $170 shipped for a $520 set seems like a steal. Going tonight to a dealer to have a quick look- if they have any...lol
