[HTML]Actually, 200db will never be recorded in any audio system, because of atmospheric conditions. Not sure on the exact number, but i believe the atmosphere can only support somethin in the 180db range..somone correct me if i'm mistaken.[/HTML]

Thats because all of the crappy stuff looks good and all the good stuff looks shitty. At least thats what i notice in the car audio industry.

Thats cuz all the good companies don't focus on how the product looks just how it performs, and by the time they have state of the art product, the price is already so high, making it look nice would just be out of the question.
Lol nah, i don't have a clue why cheap shit looks good and visa versa, but good point.

The Mike guy on "Pimp My Ride" actually is a good installer from what i've heard. He's limited to using certain brands because those brands are the ones forking out the cash for advertising and such. Hell, if the guy complains about his stereo..he could always go back to driving that broke down hooptie with the boom box run off four D batteries...that's always nice. ha..take what you can get i suppose.

"Pimp My Ride" is a joke all together. All they do is bondo the $h!t out of the car, give it paint, rims, and a crappy stereo. Yea it looks good, but what about the drivetrain. Still bone stock. Overhaulin is a much better show...they actually do motor swaps and whatnot.

Most of the creative projects on "Pimp My Ride" are worthless in all reality. Honestly, what kind of idiot wants a fish tank in his or her car? It's just not practical..They definitely seem to focus more on accessories rather than performance modifcations to the vehicle...It's all entertainment i guess.

I think they take what people put in their homes...and put them in cars....Fireplaces, fishtanks, lava lamps.

Yeah no kidding, like that time they put a fireplace in the dudes trunk, or the time they put a sink in, a fountain, a camera, a coffee maker, i mean come on when are any of these people going to need a damn fireplace in there trunk.
