but I dont know how to do it myself. I only need the speakers done....me and my friend can do the subs and amp
Do you think the 6.5" will fit in a 6x9 spot no problem? And I think I might have to buy new front speakers? unless the 4" ones in the car arent that bad....I might just keep em. Anyway to mod the front speakers to make them hold 4x6 speakers? Also, what about my deck? My deck in the nissan is aftermarket and comes right off, idk about the one in the mitsubishi though...

Yes, with adaptors. You can either make them out of wood or buy plastic ones. Sounddomain.com should still have teh adaptors.
I'd listen to them and see if you can stand them lol. If you can modify the door to fit larger speakers, i would do so. But if you can make them fit larger speakers, get at least 5&1/4" or better yet 6.5's.And I think I might have to buy new front speakers? unless the 4" ones in the car arent that bad....I might just keep em. You'd probably need a wiring harness adapter and dash kit, it's pretty easy. Also, what about my deck? My deck in the nissan is aftermarket and comes right off, idk about the one in the mitsubishi though...

you can't actually judge their wiring capabilities based on one store, and one install.brtnboarder3241 wrote:btw dont ever have circuitcity or bestbuy wire shit for car audio..they suck ass...look at a previous post by scarrell...they had 2 different size fuses in the amps...
most importantly you don't know whether or not the specs of the amp only call for 55amps. that install had a 30 amp and 25 amp fuse i belive. so if that was the case, then your statement is 100% invalid. that could be how the amp came from the factory...

ahhh sounds like a lot of work :/
w/e i'll just crank up the treble on the front speakers to try and make em sound as clear as possible, and how much are the adapters?

I'd opt for decent aftermarket 4" speakers rather than the stocks... they're not good at all, and cranking the treble will just make them sound worse.
If you can wire up an amp and subs... You can wire up speakers
Most stock speaker wire can handle the power from just the head unit so it's pretty simple.
As far as the 4" in the front... since they're small, look into getting a better grade speaker... In the end it won't cost you much more than buying only decent larger ones.
And for your head unit you'll only have to get a wiring harness and probably the dash adapter kit... less than $40 bucks

plus hes 17, i just turned 17 today...and with insurance companies...EVERYTHING is your fault at this age. the rates skyrocket no matter what, even if its only a minor ticket or something, not even an accident...at least thats how it is here.GlassWolf wrote:failure to maintain a proper following distance.
