Would would be the best combo in your mind if I were to go into a store and buy from them for between 500-700 dollars, not including installation.

I'm sure Bill will agree with me on this one as well as alot of others, when I say that Hifonics amps are some of the best for the money, of coarse there are better out there, but normally with a hefty price tag.

As for you I always knew you were talking boom car and not real SQ. You just want something to get noticed, but still enjoy the music at a reasonable level and that's why I was pointing out the Fusion stuff to begin with, although with the price range you're talking, you may want to step down frrom the NV's to the PowerPlant series (the Type-R's also), get a decent amp like Hifonics, upgrade your wiring, and have someone like Ryan to build you a box...
A battery upgrade might also be in order as well, pending what you have now.
All together that would have you at 6-750 dollars.

Ok, I think I will go with the Type-Rs, and get a hifonics amp from the web, followed by the box from Ryan. Um, I have a duralast Gold battery now, I don't know how that stacks up. Wiring will need an upgrade, but I will have a mechanic take a look at it or someone who knows car audio and the inside of a car pretty well. Overall, I thank you for your info. Now let's to say that I go with something with a little less omph and am wanting something a little faster. Just changing subs is all I would do. What would you suggest? Type-S maybe? Or possibly go to some punch level 2 or whatever? I know they are not as powerful and there is better out there, but they are pretty cheap and I know the company has a sale going on all their stuff right now.

Thanks. What is your opinion on the Brutus 1600 Watt Hiphonics amp. It is 1100 watts at 2ohms which is what I would be wiring it up for.

^x2... I told you he'd agree with me about Hifonics.
And that particular amp is probably the most popular.

If you really insist on spending money rather than saving up, might I suggest the Cerwin Vega 12.4's (800w RMS) or for even less the Xsite 1285's (1000w RMS, but a lesser known name), you can double check with smoker on those, cause I know he just picked up a couple Xsites and was impressed. You can get 2 of those for like 200 bucks.
