You know I think I've heard of scams like this before, they take your equipment and then hold it for like a month until you complain. Then say you can get it back as long as you pay the 'bench fee' even tho they didn't do anything to it.
I'm sure I've seen this on some consumer fraud show or something.
I would pay the 30 with a credit card, and also contact that states attorney general and file a complaint against the company.

Just wanted to update. I sent money for them to ship my amp back last wednesday. It is one day transit from them to me. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY AMP.
I sent them an e-mail asking where the hell my amp is, and of course no response.
What kind of legal actin can I take if they keep my amp?

What state are they located? Try contacting the state attorney's office and file a complaint.
Since you said you didn't use a credit card, that makes things more difficult for you.

They are in Ohio, right near Bill. I used PayPal.

Well you can at least try paypal and see what they will do. (I doubt much) but at least file a complaint.

Yea, after that much trouble, I would definately go out of my way to cause them their fair share of trouble.
