new to car stereo systems

ok, so im gonna go with a cheaper 4 channel amp and good comp speakers. i plan on getting subs later on. can my stock headunit help the speakers produce a good sound. i will eventually replace it, but will the speakers still sound good even with a stock headunit of a 2002 honda civic lx

Not anywhere as good as they can potentially sound. Get a line out converter (LOC for short). Look for the PAC SNI-35
