I currently have my 2 zuki eleets installed, 0/1 to the back and 4 awg to the amps

Up front I only have a 100 amp fuse. Fuses generally don't blow unless there is something wrong, I bet a 100 amp fuse can take 200 amps briefly (heck maybe even more).

Okay, I can accept this. I do however have a question, My amps take 4 gauge as the largest that will fit. If I just run a single 2 gauge run from the battery to the trunk, how will I split it off for the amps?? I already have my dist. block (it is a fused type from streetwires), the underhood fuse holder is on its way. I have a 200 amp unit for under the hood, and a 100 amp for my sub amp, they had no fitty amp for my mid amp. I will have an extra 100 amp I bought a 2 pack cause it was cheaper, I may use it under the hood.

I will make it as short as possible going from the battery, (like 10 inches or under like Bill said), cause that just makes good sense really.

Sounds like you have the distro block already, so use it.

refer to the chart I posted above (don't put bigger fuses on the wire than recommended)

YOU can help prevent forest fires (caused by car fires)!

Fuses are rated based on the current and time. Say it takes a 60 amp fuse 3 seconds to blow well that means it will take 120 amps for 1.5 seconds and 240 amps for .75 seconds and 480 amps for .375 seconds and 960 amps for .1875 seconds. This is how we got away with running huge amps on small fuses. This is just an example please dont quote these numbers.
