Think u've seen an 18?
WTF is the matter with people? You can't throw that kinda power at a sub even if it is dry without a good break-in period first, let alone one that the glue's still curing...
Sorry to here about it bro as that is a damn nice looking sub and similar dimensions to the DC level 4XLs and 5s.

Far Exceeds the lvl4 and Lvl5 this is a 4in Coil sub which the DC's are 3's. the motor on these are about 1/3 larger then the dc's as well. these subs are built for that kind of power but must have proper cure time. no break in required. the issues stem from the glue issues and improper loading.cargodz wrote:WTF is the matter with people? Evidently my earlier comment made bill upset.
Just for the record, my comments were based off the grey surround, the orangeish colored spider, plain jane dustcap and white residue. As I stated earlier, I personally dont like the cosmetics of it. Which obviously holds NO effect on performance, which is what Bill is all about.
Its in no way an attack on Bill or his subs performance.

No arguement from me... I remember the FSQs and those were tough as hell... although to throw that kinda power to them you may wanna still consider a lil break-in time (just a thought)... Still either way cure time is a must.Bwcad1 wrote:Far Exceeds the lvl4 and Lvl5 this is a 4in Coil sub which the DC's are 3's. the motor on these are about 1/3 larger then the dc's as well. these subs are built for that kind of power but must have proper cure time. no break in required. the issues stem from the glue issues and improper loading.
Although Fi BTLs still don't come close to the DC level 5, they are more in line with the level 4 & 4XLs... Rusty seriously under rates his subs on the site as what he calls a "safe rms"
