100-60= 40% in decimal its .4 So you take the amps X 1.4 (140%) calculating for inefficiency.

thats way more complicated then it needs to be lol man.

14.4v X 50Amps = 720

720 X .8 (80 Percent Efficiency) = 576watts

Well look at the math Bill.

We already know the rated watts and can guess at the voltage ;)

Lets just work with the numbers given on that page...

13.8 Volts X 25 Amps= 345 WRMS X .6 (efficency)= 207 WRMS total power output.

Thats why I say that fuse cant be correct... This baby is to do 800 WRMS

Yeah I'm back. One of my customers from work stumbled upon one of my eCoustics threads. He said to himself hmmmm....... Fishy, that sounds like Dwight. I guess he was impressed because now he wants me to design couple systems for his vehicles as well as a home theater.
He is part of a group of regulars that fish with me every Wednesday night. They're from "The Islands", i.e. Trinidad, Jamaica, etc. and all pretty much own theiy're own businesses and would like to see me start my own.
Looks like I've got the investors I've always wanted.
I've got some ideas. How does "SQ Technologies" or "SQ Consulting" sound?
I established a corporation a couple years ago when I bought a commercial fishing boat, have found a 1000 ft^2 brick and mortar with an air conditioned office for $800 a month, and have the backing from people that care.
Your are absolutely correct "You only live once".
Expect me around here with a whole crap load of questions.

How does SoundQAdvise sound to you? Also, you need a consultant in Oklahoma? LOL...I think this is a good idea for you. BTW, anyone on here can vouch for my kwowledge as well as experience in SQ.

No really, I don't need a job...or....do I?

Good luck in your future. I think you have a good starting point right now.

no dude i wasnt actually doing the amp i was laying out my formula instead of doing 1.4 which imo is more difficult than just using .6.

ya thats the simple formula. only works when amps are established.

either way I like both formulae :fing02: I can figure either way now,
thanks guys :happy013:

How about we just add a zero and be done with it, hehe.
