Nah its ok to revive some threads.
As for why it never made it. I can say thats probably due to the fact that nobody established here has owned one.
I would be hesitant to add them to anything besides questionable also. Especially knowing how their following works and previous issues with merchandise...

You guys gotta realise that there are hundreds of audio companies out there, we can't possibly categorize EVERY single one. That is why a lot of brands aren't in the list.

i think every brand listed on there has been used tested and maybe abused to see what they could do by one or more highly regarded members of the board and thats why there isnt every brand on there.

I wasn't suggesting that EVERY brand should be listed... I was just asking the question, since those amps were discussed in this thread, but then they didn't appear.
If nobody has any direct experience with them, then I'm all for leaving them off the list... no information is better than potentially wrong information.
Just thought I'd ask the question though, since I've seen their name quite a few times due to the low $$$.

what makes me hesitant about eD amps is that when you see the guts of one, it's identical to amplifiers by another low priced, not so popular company.
hifonics or power acoustik.. I forget what it was, but the comparison has been made many times, giving a good idea who eD pays to relabel the amps for them and market them under eD's name.
The more I know about eD, the less I really like the company and their products.

is edead worth $12 in shipping for 15sq fit? i really need to deaden my trunk. I'm about to get a better deck with sub controls and possibly a better amp for my sub. :)

Agreed. The internals are quite pathetic on the nine.1. Tiny transformers for the amount of power it claims to put out. Competitors hate them too, unless they're not paying for them of course. There's more out their for your money.

personally I havent used second skin but they talk a lottttttt about it on caraudio.com and from what Ive read it sounds like a good product. I have edead v1se or whatever and ive never had a problem, although I know there is something like you dont want to use asphalt based deadeners on surfaces that will be upside down (trunk lid, rear deck etc) cause they will fall off. might be the other way around. but its just something to take into consideration.
ive never had a problem like that with my edead on my lid but thats what the second skin rep says (about the asphalt)
anyways second skin is insanely expensive IMO, im sure it is a quality product, but to get 80sqft of damplifier (just the entry level stuff) is $250.00 without shipping, and to get 80sq ft of v1se it cost me about $70.00 (you can get a 20% discount code from caraudio.com)
